On April 11, 2013, Alpha Technologies Ltd. acquired certain assets of Compower Systems Inc. from their court-appointed receiver.  This asset acquisition supports Alpha’s strategic push to grow our service business, targeting the telecommunications, data center and industrial power sectors. 

Alpha will continue to offer many of the same products and services previously provided, but there will be a short period of transition with every effort made to maintain continuity of service to Compower’s existing customer base. Compower’s facility in Greater Toronto (60 North Wind Place) will close on May 31, 2013. Select personnel and assets will be consolidated into Alpha’s new expanded facility at 5300 Bradco Blvd, Mississauga, Ontario by May 31, 2013. Alpha will maintain the ex-Compower regional office in Edmonton.
